JCC: The Business and Economics Research Journal publishes scholarly research articles offering new theoretical developments, and/or empirical international contributions in the fields of business and economics. The journal seeks to address complex, wide-ranging academic and research topics, so that researchers, practitioners, and even policy makers can subscribe to our journal.

JCC publishes 2 issues per annum.


JCC: The Business and Economics Research Journal aims to become an evergreen favourable journal in terms of disseminating high quality scholarly research articles for the pool of knowledge seekers in the field of business and economics; as well as play a vital role as an exchange medium to transmit and simulate frontiers of thoughts in a well-balanced research framework between Latin American and non-Latin American countries, enhancing the prosperity in business and economics research.

Peer review

JCC operates a double blind peer review model. All articles undergo an initial assessment by the journal editor. If they are considered suitable for peer review, articles will then be a reviewed by a minimum of two external reviewers to assess its suitability for publication. Final responsibility for editorial decisions rest with the journal editor.

Open access

All articles published in JCC are published Open Access under a CCBY 4.0 licence. For further information on licencing please see the author guidelines.

JCC is published by Emerald Publishing on behalf of Centrum Business School, PCUP. JCC is owned by Centrum Business School, PCUP. JCC is published under a platinum OA arrangement, in that all charges for publishing an OA article in JCC are funded by Centrum Business School, PCUP. There is no charge to the author.
