How to... find the right statistics resources

Options:     Print Version - How to... find the right statistics resources, part 1 Print view

Textbooks

There are a great number of business statistics textbooks. Most claim to be based on real world examples and have plenty of exercises, whilst most also have examples from the relevant software. If you are looking for a book to help you come to grips with statistics, and you do not have a particular recommendation from a course tutor, then you should go by the level you need (we have provided a separate section on books for those who are nervous about statistics, see Self study or reference, and also one on books for those who have already had some background in statistics, see More mathematically advanced).
