ELITE to collaborate with International Journal of Disaster Resilience in the Built Environment

Introduction to ELITE

ELITE (Elicit to learn crucial post-crisis lessons) is an EU funded research project based on knowledge gathering, categorisation, analysis and evaluation, with a goal of post-crisis lessons learning and use of this learning in practice.

ELITE define implicitly the need for a Community of Practice (CoP) for crisis response. The ELITE consortium has a strong representation of experienced crisis managers and responders across all phases of crises and of knowledge management experts embedded within a CoP.

Collaboration with the journal

Authors of selected papers presented at the ELITE final conference will be invited to submit their papers for inclusion in the International Journal of Disaster Resilience in the Built Environment (IJDRBE).

Before submission, papers need to be formatted as per the journal requirements. See the author guidelines here

Authors of shortlisted papers will be invited to further develop their papers (e.g. adding in any other findings, expanding in some areas and drilling deeper into others, to justify a good journal publication) and to submit their  papers for possible publication in the journal.

Papers will undergo the journal's peer review process, and the journal's Editors will select invitees for publication.
