Information Page

Research in the History of Economic Thought and Methodology (RHETM) is a journal / book series dedicated to an interdisciplinary approach to a broad range of topics related to the history and methodology of economics. Forthcoming volumes will be divided into four parts: a monothematic section dedicated to research articles focused on a particular issue in the journal’s core fields of interest, a section including research articles of a more general nature, a section of newly-discovered archival materials, and a section of review essays on new works in the history and methodology of economics.

The editorial team of RHETM is committed to expanding the series’ influence on future research in the history and methodology of economics and the social sciences. Only articles displaying the highest standards of academic quality, intellectual integrity, and potential impact on the relevant fields will be accepted for publication in Research in the History of Economic Thought and Methodology. All research articles submitted to RHETM should be prepared for blind review. Unlike many journals, RHETM does not set a word limit on articles that will be accepted for publication. However, the editors encourage prospective authors to self-police their word counts and to keep their essays to the minimum length necessary to establish the relevant argument. The editors will not hesitate to request substantial revisions to overlong, but otherwise publishable, submissions.
