Aims and scope

Strategy & Leadership (SL) articles define a strategic management or leadership problem, dilemma or opportunity from the perspective of senior management; propose a creative solution to the problem or a way to take advantage of the opportunity; describe the model, tool, technique, new research finding or concept that enables the solution; show evidence or examples that the proposed solution has worked or could work. We encourage authors to provide a mini-case of a novel strategic management process in action; show results; list the how-to steps and describe how to perform a diagnostic. Illuminating quotes from senior corporate leaders are highly valued.

Preferred article and case length is approximately 2,500 to 3,500 words. Submissions selected for peer review are read by a team of four to eight experienced corporate executives, senior academics and veteran consultants. Accepted articles will be edited by a publications team. Articles will be edited by the Editor prior to acceptance.
