This special issue contributes to the literature on intellectual capital measurement, in light of advances in technology.

Many researchers have proven through their studies that intellectual capital has a strong influence on the success of an organization (Tovstiga and Tulugurova, 2007; St-Pierre and Audet, 2011; Khalique et al., 2015). It signifies an organization’s value and also provides competitive edge (Marzo, and Scarpino, 2016). Hence, this established the magnitude intellectual capital holds and proper attention should be given in managing it by any organization that wish to thrive in this competitive era.
