Focus:
clinicians and practitioners come across cases they are often at a loss in terms of how to start to conceptualise the problem, conduct clinical assessments, assess the forensic risk and provide interventions.

This special issue will aim to provide an opportunity for people working in the ID field to contribute empirical papers concerning the features of people with an intellectual disability (ID) who set fires and their assessment, treatment and management

Research ideas may include but are not limited to:

1) Features and characteristics of people with ID who set fires.
2) Assessment approaches with people with ID who set fires.
3) Risk assessment with people with ID who set fires.
4) Treatment and management of people with ID who set fires.
