Special issue call for papers from China Finance Review International

Over the past three decades, China has developed rapidly, and its GDP has increased by 185 times between 1978 and 2015. However, despite such soaring economic growth, most existing studies focusing on the topics well examined in developed markets. As China has undergone substantial markets/institutions development and reforms in recent years, there is still much to be learned about the firm behaviors, capital market functioning, information dissemination, both in theory and in practices. In this special issue, we aim to improve our understanding on corporate finance in the setting of China. This special issue will improve our understanding on firm’s behaviors, decisions, and economic consequence in the setting of China, which will provide significant academic contributions and policy implications.

We encourage thoughtful analyses that spur insightful reflections on any topics of corporate finance in the setting of China.  We are also looking for new insights, creative solutions, and innovative ideas as well as scholarship that takes us in new directions.  Topics for the special issue can include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Corporate capital structure,
* Corporate investment (capital investment, labor investment, R&D),
* Corporate financing (debt, IPO, SEO, payout policies)
* Corporate governance
* M&A
* Security analysts
* Institutional investors

Notes: Manuscripts are accepted in English and Chinese, but all Chinese manuscripts will be required to submit English versions after acceptance.

The special issue is expected to be published in the second half of 2018. All submissions will undergo the same strict double blind peer review process that is generally applied for the journal.
