Impact of Research 2012

Awards for Excellence

About the Award

Emerald is exceedingly passionate about publishing research which has an impact; we do acknowledge however that impact cannot always be immediate. In light of this, last year the Impact of Research Award was launched.

This year three of Emerald's leading journals and one book series participated as they have made a significant subject-specific contribution. The winning papers must have been published before 2006 and could go back as far as the first issue of the first volume.

The winning papers are seminal articles and can demonstrate impact on one or more of the headings below:

• The body of knowledge
• Practice
• Teaching and learning
• Public policy making
• Society and environment
• Economy
