Emerald Special Issue features in United Nations Global Assessment Report
International Journal of Disaster Resilience in the Built Environment features in the UN’s Global Assessment Report 2015 on Disaster Risk Recovery
The IJDRBE Special Issue - which is free to access until 31 August - delivers a global assessment of disaster risk reduction and a comprehensive review and analysis of the natural hazards affecting humanity.
The GAR is written every two years by a wide range of influential stakeholders from government, industry and academia, and provides information to help improve the resilience of the built environment within the United Nations and communities.
IJDRBE is the only journal within the built environment realm that promotes research and scholarly activity which examines the role of building and construction, to anticipate and respond to unexpected events that damage or destroy the built environment.
