Dallas, TX, July 12 2016 – Emerald Group Publishing will be exhibiting at the Annual 2016 ICHRIE Summer Conference in Dallas, Texas on Booth 207, 20-21 July, and inviting attendees to enjoy #TeaWithBetty.
The ICHRIE (International Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education) Summer Conference is the world’s premier tourism industry event for the latest educational software, curriculum products and services and publishing resources.
Emerald will be showcasing its strong Tourism & Hospitality portfolio as an internationally focused collection of publications reflecting the work of world-leading researchers in this area.
The collection - which has seen Usage increase by 21.1% over the last 12 months - comprises seven journals exploring diverse topics in tourism and hospitality, such as event management, tourism technology, urban tourism, destination branding and tourist behaviour.
Emerald will use ICHRIE to discuss special issues and the latest developments for the Tourism journals, as well as host an Editorial Board Meeting with the Editor Fevzi Okumus and Editorial Advisory Board for the International Journal of ContemporaryHospitality Management (IJCHM).
IJCHM has an Impact Factor of 2.176 – having received an increase in 2015 – and is ranked 9th out of 44 journals in the Thomson Reuters SSCI category ‘Hospitality, Leisure, Sport and Tourism’.
Emerald will also be giving attendees real Yorkshire tea and inviting them to take a selfie with Emerald’s ICHRIE mascot ‘Betty the Bug’ and post it on Twitter with the hashtag #TeaWithBetty for a chance to win a $50 prize.
