Rebecca Morris appointed as new Editor of The CASE Journal
Dr Rebecca Morris brings a wealth of experience to TCJ having taught strategic management and international management for over 30 years
Rebecca takes over from Gina Vega as the Editor-in-Chief of TCJ and will carry on the good work already undertaken to fulfil the mission of the journal, developing new case writers and publishing their work alongside established case authors.
Rebecca brings a wealth of experience to TCJ having taught strategic management and international management at graduate and undergraduate levels for over 30 years.
Her cases have been published in The CASE Journal, Case Research Journal, the Business Case Journal and in many textbooks. She has also served in various roles within the case community including as President of The CASE Association, Vice President Case Marketing at the North American Case Research Association (NACRA) and as President of NACRA. In 2014, Rebecca was elected a Fellow of NACRA.
Dr Morris commented on her vision for TCJ: “As the new editor, my vision for TCJ is twofold: continue the valuable developmental aspects of the Journal’s editorial policy to enable new case authors to bring their cases up to TCJ standards, and to raise the Journal’s profile by increasing international reviewers, case authors and readership.
“I believe TCJ is well-positioned to become the leading voice in case research, writing and teaching due to our interest in new case formats such as Compact Cases or technology enhanced cases and our commitment to innovative case pedagogies.”
Under Rebecca’s leadership, TCJ will continue to build its reputation as one of the premier outlets for publishing case studies, positioning itself at the forefront of developing the case method as a form of teaching and learning within the business school.
