Winners of the Emerald/EFMD 2015 Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards announced
Emerald's authors receive international recognition for the best doctoral research in business and management

- a management development network - are pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards (ODRA).
These awards - which attracted more than double the number of submissions received last year - celebrate excellence in research within business and management subject taxonomies and are judged by the Editor(s) and at least one Editorial Advisory Board member of the sponsoring Emerald journal.
Authors submitted their research into one of the seven subject categories available – the judges then picked eight winners and 23 highly commended papers which demonstrated significance/implications for theory and practice, originality and innovation, appropriateness and application of the methodology and the quality of the data/research.
The winning authors ranged from universities in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Nepal, Netherlands, Sweden, United Kingdom and United States - highlighting the global reach of these awards and Emerald’s author community.

The winners received a cash prize of €1,500 (or currency equivalent), a certificate and a winners’ logo to attach to correspondence which not only acts as a stamp of quality, but also strengthens their reputation as respectable researchers.
