Annual CEEMAN Case Writing Competition Now Open for Submissions

United Kingdom, 28 January 2015 –Emerald Group Publishing, global publisher linking research and practice to the benefit of society, is delighted to announce the 21st annual case writing competition, in association with the international management development association, CEEMAN, is now open for submissions.

As a key supporter of the case writing field, Emerald provides an internationally recognised outlet for the publication of case studies in its Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies (EEMCS) collection. Emerald also partners with institutions and associations globally to reward case writers.

Megan Hardeman, Business and Product Development Manager, said: “Teaching case studies have been at the forefront of the rise in experiential learning for a number of years now and  the competition continues to be a successful and well recognised outlet to promote professional case studies.  Only last year we achieved an impressive number of submissions, receiving a total 26 original case studies, 10 of which were shortlisted by the judging panel.

"This year’s competition is now open to submissions and we’re appealing for case studies across the globe that demonstrate a real situation in a real company with clear decision-making. Our dedication to research that benefits society is the motivation behind this award and we aim to encourage and promote the development of high-quality teaching case material relevant for the realities of dynamic and emerging economies.”
To submit your case study, visit the online submission site at and when prompted, select CEEMAN 2015 as the issue you are submitting to.  The deadline for submissions is 29th May 2015.
